Detroit Red Wings Columbus Sport reviews
Little Caesars Arena upper bowl seating
I purchased tickets online and was warned that the mezzanine seating were considered obstructed view. That was due to the clear, plexi-glass partition in front of the front row. I was disappointed to learn that my upper bowl seats had no view of the center ice score board due to the gondola seating hanging down in front of the upper bowl seats. Any of the seats above row 7 (unless you are in the ends of the arena) have no view of the center ice score board. These seats do have an unobstructed view of the ice, but there should be some mention of the obstructed view of the score board. There are small screens mounted to the rear of the gondolas to view instead of the large screen. These seats were unsatisfactory for the money. I paid $239 for two seats in section 225 (face value from the official Red Wings website on the day they went on sale to the public) for the Chicago Blackhawk game and was very disappointed.
Redwings vs. Bruins
First ever Redwings game for my son, uncle, and I; including a first Little Cesars Area experience for my father-in-law. Overall it was an amazing experience! Great atmosphere and beautiful arena. The arena is very clean, ushers/staff are very helpful and friendly, and food selection is good and not too overly priced. The best parts were the seats (section 102) and seeing my 6 year old son smile and cheer the entire game for his favorite hockey team and seeing them be victorious over one on the best teams in the NHL, the Boston Bruins. We can’t wait to go back!
